Want to start at the beginning.  This course is especially for those with little experience or lacking the confidence to have a go.  We will take you through from the basics of switching on the computer, using a mouse, the Windows environment, working with files, the internet, and sending and receiving emails, and an overview of Microsoft Office.

Learn all the basics you need to send and receive emails, including with photos and documents. Manage your address book and be organised.

Internet Providers – Thursday 17th August, 9.30am to 12.00pm Come and learn how to organise internet connection. Unravel some of the confusing language and how to understand what the different providers are offering

Photo Editing – Thursday 7th & 14th September, 9.30am to 12.00pm Learn useful techniques to make the most of your photos from red eye reduction, colour techniques, cropping and changing the image size (2 sessions)

Create a fantastic looking website from a wide range of templates (2 sessions)

Linked In – Thursday 9th November, 9.30am to 12.00pm
This is a professional orientated Social Networking Site that allows people to build a profile detailing their employment, skills and certifications (1 session)

Pinterest – Thursday 16th November, 9.30am to 12.00pm
A website that allows you to ‘pin’ things you are interested in online, just as you would on a board. Go crazy and organise favourite recipes, ideas for work and so much more (1 session)
